Coming to The Branch originally from Sarajevo, Bosnia, Anel Lilic will serve as the coach for Varsity Women’s Soccer at FBHS. Coach Lilic has lived in Georgia since 2000, and completed his Bachelors’ Degree in Sports Management from Emmanuel College, and his Masters Degree in Physical Education with a focus in Kinesiology from the University of North Georgia. Most recently he has served as an assistant coach for UNG men’s soccer program (2013-16) as well as an assistant coach with Emmanuel College Men’s Soccer (2016-17). He is currently a coach for Georgia Soccer’s Olympic Development Program and Coach/Director at Lanier Soccer Association. Coach Lilic currently resides in Gainesville with his wife Edita.
Position: Assistant Coach
Adin is a coach and analyst who currently works as the Head Coach of a U14 Boys Team at United Futbol Academy in Atlanta, Georgia while attending the University of North Georgia for a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Health and Physical Education.
Recently he finished working as the First-Team Performance Analyst for Columbus Crew SC where Adin was responsible for Tactical Analysis of Columbus Crew SC as well as Opponent Scouting. Before joining Columbus, he worked as a volunteer assistant coach for the University of North Georgia’s men’s soccer team in addition to coaching at the youth and high school levels. Adin has earned the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and USSF E License and is continuing to attend courses to earn higher licenses in both organizations.

- Began working on an MLS First Team Staff with 21 years of age.
Adin is part of the English enclave of Spielverlagerung GbR, considered by many to be a leader in soccer research and analysis. He works on many topics including but not limited to: methodology, match analysis, and football theory on the website. Adin was born in Germany and is of Bosnian heritage.
